Texas Traffic Stop Leads to 42,000 Fentanyl Pills, Arrest, $2M Bond

(WFAA) — Officers in Smith County say a traffic stop led them to 42,000 fentanyl pills on Friday.

The Smith County Sheriff’s Office arrested the man they [that] had the pills after they pulled him over on Interstate 20.

Officials say the driver let them search his car, where they found the fentanyl.

He was arrested and booked into the Smith County Jail on a $2-million bond.
